Add to that the detail that since the lower classes were mostly had a lack of literacy, most of the history and practice of Flamenco was passed on through oral tradition; it’s passed on from generation to generation so it’s only natural that it has changed a lot from its original form which is forever lost to historians of this generation.
Researchers, historians and experts are still discussing and learning the facts to find out the exact history and origin of Flamenco; how Flamenco got its name is still unsolved. Nonetheless, no one can erase the fact that Flamenco has a major role on the dance culture all across the world.
