Poinsettia has very small colored leaves?
I managed to get last year’s Christmas poinsettia to rebloom…sort of. Although the top bracts have colored up beautifully, they are very small, much smaller than the green leaves on the rest of the plant. The “mini-poinsettia” look is not quite what I was going for.
Does anyone know why this happened, and what I can do better next time? The poinsettia followed the strict light-dark rules from October 1-December 5, was fertilized regularly last year after blooming, and appears very healthy. Thanks!!
well… if you re-bloom a poinsettia it will unfortunately end up smaller… there isn’t much more you can do than water it well and give it nice fertilizer.
