Scrapbooking kits!?
I really want to buy a scrapbooking kit but I dont know which company I should get. Are there any really good kits at a good price?
I wouldn’t pick it by brand. What your main focus is product. Is it going to give you what you need to start your first scrapbook?
If you have never scrapbooked then there are some things you’ll need.
- Paper trimmer (my personal fav Cutterpede)
- Adhesive , make sure it is Acid and Lignin FREE
- Pen, Acid and Lignin FREE as well
Those are the IMPORTANT supplies you need everything else is really and embellishment or paper.
The next thing you need to make sure is, if it comes with an album that, thats the album size you want to scrapbook and if you can get refills for it. Most books come with a standard of 10 pages.
I would say you should go to a local scrapbook store or a craft store (ie, Michaels, Beverly’s, Jo-Ann’s) and talk to the staff. Tell them what you are looking for (Kit) and what you want in it. It’s also easier if you have a project in mind. Birthday, trip, party, dance… the possiblities are endless.
