The time round the Christmas gets really get to my nerves. I really like to present gifts to my pals and family but the sole concern is to choose of what to choose for whom.
I am quite a family guy and I love to celebrate, drink and dine with my family. Ever since I used to be a kid that’s what I have seen my pa doing thus, I guess this is something I have inherited. I have seven sisters and I am the only boy in the family. By the grace of Our Lord God I do well in my profession that has empowered me to take care of all the wants of my folks members. All my sisters are younger to me and at times I feel that I’m playing pa to them. However [*COMMA] the sole difference is that they don’t treat me like one. I am their only bro.
Around the Christmas time when I have to go out and shop for these 7 beautiful women I lose it utterly. They are seven ladies, how am I supposed to remember what each of these girls like. It is getting really difficult when they unwrap their gifts and they like the gift that some one else has got each one gets running to me and regardless of my best I am stuck.
I have tried every thing from still to jewelry, from pants to pets but I just don’t get it what these ladies actually need. Again Xmas is round the corner and i have been intimated that this year I shouldn’t be repeating any of the gifts that I’ve had ever bought in the past. And when I ask them that they could give me a catalogue of thing that they are expecting as gifts, they might have this philosophy that gifts are never asked for. In fact around the same time the last year, I kept a proposal box in the sitting room praying that some one would at slip a slip about what they want but no, when I opened the box it had slips that read pick it on your own we wouldn’t tell. I can’t tell you that how pissed off I was. All i knew was that they all liked purses, what they don’t know is that the purse I got them is a Cartier fake.
This time I have decided that I shall pick 7 things just like that walking down the road randomly. As even if I think and pick they would definitely have some thing or the other to point out. Walking down the street I picked a make up kit, a DVD player, an aquarium, Cartier fake purse, a stuff toy, a big mirror and wall clock. I wrapped them all and on the day placed it under the Christmas tree.
This time I did another smart thing, I didn’t label the gifts. And I told all 7 of them that you might pick and choose from the piled gifts and that is what they went and did. God! What was I expecting a miracle? Noting modified each one reacted the same way as they do every Yuletide. Only Kelly was OK with her present, she was the one to unwrap the Cartier fake handbag.
