How to Make Kids Chef Hats At Home
Do you love your kids? If you do, then there is a great way of showing that you care for them and would love to include them in your busy schedule. They are also easy to make with available materials like paper clips, three sheets of legal-sized blank white paper (14 inches by 8 1/2 inches), pair of scissors, tape and white poster board upon following the simple procedure given. Using the tape, take the two sheets of blank paper taping it from one end to the other. Make pleated folds of preferably one inch from this taped paper. From the third blank paper, cut out two strips with a measurement of two inches taping them from end to end. This will form a longer strip. Fold 1/3 of this strip of legal paper, at the bottom along full length. This helps you make the band of the hat ensuring the fold remains on the outer part.
Slowly unfold the pleated paper until it almost expands to the full length. Then on the backside of the band, fix the lower side of pleated paper to the top edge of the band using tape. As simple, as that and you have the hat for the young cook ready for the job. Do you realize that you can fix your own chef hats without necessarily going to the shops? Be creative and let your kids enjoy it with you. You are making the champion out of them for the future.
